Project Overview & Challenges in Pet Care
Billion Projects was hired by Coodle to design and build a comprehensive solution for pet owners to track and monitor their pets' behavior, location, and health. Our team managed the project from scratch, delivering a full-stack solution that included hardware, PCB design, firmware, and mobile application development.
Pet owners face numerous challenges in ensuring their pets' safety and well-being, specifically limited visibility into daily activities and difficulty tracking location in cases of escape or theft. Furthermore, owners struggled with an inability to monitor health for early detection of issues and a lack of effective communication with their pets.
End-to-End Solution & Key Outcomes
To address these challenges, we developed the Coodle: Smart Pet Collar, a cutting-edge wearable device equipped with a GPS module, accelerometer, microphone, and temperature sensor within a water-resistant housing. The system relies on a custom-designed PCB for seamless component integration, proprietary firmware for data processing, and a user-friendly mobile application that allows owners to track location, monitor behavior, and receive insights.
The project successfully improved pet safety through GPS tracking and anti-theft features while enhancing health monitoring via temperature sensing and activity tracking. The solution increased pet-owner bonding through customizable notifications and achieved high customer satisfaction by providing peace of mind and valuable insights.
